Alma Safe Care Limited is a live-in nursing care agency which provides registered nurses for live-in care across Scotland. The Home Care Nurse lives in the Service User's home to provide continuous care, companionship and help with household tasks. Alma Safe Care provides reliable, first-rate live-in care for individuals who wish to maintain their independence, dignity and comfort in their own home.

Our aims
Alma Safe Care aims to provide one-on-one personalised care tailored to the Service User’s needs, wishes and requirements.
We aim to provide a consistently high standard of one to one live-in care that will enable its Service Users to live safely and comfortably in their own homes, whilst maintaining their dignity and privacy. It is our aim to tailor our services to the care requirements and desires of the Service User to ensure that they achieve the best possible quality of life and receive an excellent standard of care whilst maintaining their independence.
Our Services
Permanent Live-in Nursing Care
Alma Safe Care can provide a small team of live-in qualified and registered nurses to work on a rotational basis to provide care, companionship and nursing care in the individual’s home. We try to ensure continuity and familiarity of nurses, providing a familiar relief Home Care Nurse when the primary Home Care Nurse is on leave. The Home Care Nurses work on a rotation basis so that cover is always provided by an individual known to the Service User. Permanent nursing care can be an ideal option for somebody who can no longer cope alone but wishes to remain in the familiarity of their own home. It can also be an alternative to a nursing home for individuals or couples who wish to remain living together.
Home from Hospital
After discharge from hospital, an individual’s period of recovery may be significantly reduced if they receive live-in nursing care on their return home to help them re-adjust to normal life more easily. It can be incredibly difficult to manage alone at home after an operation or hospital stay. We can provide a qualified nurse to live in the home and provide care and help around the home until the individual has recovered sufficiently.
In such circumstances, our registered nurse assessor will be happy to visit the patient in hospital in order to assess and arrange appropriate care in advance. We can provide care for however long it is required – from a few weeks to months at a time.
Palliative Care
The goal of palliative care is achievement of the best quality of life for patients and their families who are faced with serious illness. It focuses on increasing comfort through prevention and treatment of distressing symptoms. In addition to expert symptom management, palliative care focuses on clear communication, advance planning, and coordination of care. Our qualified nurses can work effectively with other health professionals to provide supportive care in the individual’s home, providing quality end of life care.
Respite Care
We are happy to provide Home Care Nurses for short-term respite care to replace the care normally provided by a relative, for example in times of emergency or illness, or to provide relief for a carer who simply needs a break from the responsibility of providing constant care.
